Make your mind up!

Well I don't generally make my mind up about anything really until it comes to the crunch and then it's like "err.. crap, yes, I mean no, I dunno, just gimme the green one!" - which generally doesn't help me at all.

But yeah erm, I'm potentially going to start using this blog again for more specific things like, what I've been upto of late, xbox wise, life wise, other things, so I shall start by detailing various things that I'm doing.

Xbox360 Games:
Mostly Fallout 3, having watched my bro cruise through it over Christmas I kinda got game envy so have been playing it whenever I can. It has pushed me to commit to finishing a game before I go back to any of the others I have lying around. After the mass of awesome games that dropped Q2 2008, namely Fallout 3, Fable 2, Gears of War 2, Dead Space, I've had more games than time and subsequently have not really got round to playing any to completion. Admittedly I bought Dead Space to give me something to do while I waited for Fallout3 and Xbox360Fanboy had been speaking highly of it so thought I'd grab it.
So yeah I've decided to keep blasting Fallout 3 and try to finish it before going onto anything else which may have been a bad move as it's a pretty huge game. There are so many side quests and other such things that get in the way (in a good way) that I actually haven't moved on in the main story line even after many hours of play. However it is very enjoyable so I'm not going to complain.
Other than that I have been playing Halo 3 a good amount with one of my good friends, which has been great for both a bit of relaxation (unless we play against each other) and also as a bit of guy time. We recently started playing the campaign on Legendary (hardest difficulty setting)and are pretty far through (I think right near the end) which has been good fun, and will get me some achievements.
I've also dabbled in a bit of PGR4 (racing game) and I'm still looking to buy a steering wheel for the 360 so I can play driving games using a proper wheel and not a couple of sticks, not sure how successful I'll be as the options are pretty much the microsoft one for £70 (not exactly cheap) and not much else as they are all out of stock (due to demand for them being long gone) but maybe the release of a new racing game will pick it up again, no idea when that will be though.

Design:
I'm kinda trying to gear myself up to doing more design practise in the hope that I can utilise it at some point in the future, so have been having a play with Photoshop and tutorial sites. So my first offering is this:

Which I got the tutorial from PSDTUTS.
I'll be aiming to try and find a tutorial to do during my lunch hour and hopefully get me up to scratch with some photoshop techniques and stuff like that.

"Random" Thing:
Pantone Bag - I thought this was pretty awesome.

Well I'd best get back to work
