I've finally got round to doing something with my site, other than just having it as a holding page, and to celebrate I've changed the banner on this blog... poorly... I'm not really happy with it, so it'll probably change again soon. It's actually taken me well over a year to get my site going (as I remember someone commenting that the copyright still said 2007 when it turned 2008 and seeing it is not 2009 (and having had to make sure I change the copyright date again, I should probably just write a script for that)), but it's there and has some stuff what I have done, so that's better than a kick in the eye.
I'm planning to update it relatively frequently (we'll see how well that goes) and make sure it serves me well as a portfolio site and something to do.
On completely different notes, I've been playing GTA IV again as the new DLC is coming out soon, but I was just feeling like a change and some driving and shooting and stuff. I also recently bought Mirrors Edge, essentially a first person parkour simulator, which has been fun, if not a little frustratingly difficult to control and also makes me want to get back into doing parkour again. Which leads me nicely into my next point... I went for my first jog//run type thing in about 9 months (enough time to make a baby... I didn't though) which was pretty good. I have little stamina so have to stop (well have to is not necessarily the case, I'm not very good at keeping myself going) every now and then, but spent about 40 mins outside the house, most of it above walking speed, so that was good and hopefully I'll keep it up. This is kind of a way of easing back into parkour, aside from having a bit of a knee injury (agrivated somewhat by repeatedly kneeing the bar at the Edward Rayne pub), one of my greatest weaknesses (apart from being lame and scared to go and do parkour, I over think things) was stamina and being able to keep up flow and stuff like that whilst training, so hopefully by increasing my stamina it'll increase my confidence and allow me to get back into things. I've kinda been scoping spots out a little around Raynes Park, particularly Raynes Park High School, there seems a couple of good spots, but I'm worried I'll be viewed as a troublemaker, but hopefully it'll be ok, we'll see. If you don't hear from me, I've either been arrested or continued with my infrequent posting on this blog, you'll never know which really.
So anyway that's that and my last thing is that I'm contemplating being all trendy and using odd punctuation and stuff like that _so using _ instead of ( to separate things _I was going to do a thing where instead of sing ( in my explanation I'd use a _ as a "joke" but I think it'd jsut be confusing_ erm yeah_ this could get confusing//
